  Gilbert Hopkins is buried at Spears Cemetery.     He suffered a tragic death, as described in the following  newspaper article. 
His parents, Esek & Lovina Hopkins are buried on East Killingly Road
 at FR035 - the Jeremiah Hopkins Lot.


   A most appropriate epitaph:              
  "Therefore, be ye also ready
 For in such an hour as ye think not
 Shall tte son of man cometh"
